A beautiful bay thoroughbred on a hazy summer afternoon, cooling down after competing at cross country. Her veins are still standing out after her exertion, her tack gleaming in the warmth of the day. This is a celebration of the sporting partnership of man and horse and I have done my best to capture this mare's sparkling intelligence in her eyes.
