I studied locally at Hereford College of Art & Design before going on to obtain a degree in Three Dimensional Design at Loughborough College of Art in 1985.

Since graduating I have worked in various creative fields, including designing packaging for health food products, managing and putting together ranges of greetings cards for The Paper House Group as well as designing cards of my own and creating and painting designs for ranges of children’s furniture.

I have been drawing and painting animals all my life, that's over 50 years of creating and learning. As a child I spend hours creating little cartoons of all our pets and closely studying the artwork of my heroine, Beatrix Potter. Today I am a busy and successful artist painting all kinds of beautiful creatures from pet hedgehogs to peacocks, cats, dogs and horses.
